Dementia Awareness In Transport

Dementia can be challenging to recognise when you don’t understand what it is and how it affects people. To most people, Dementia is something that makes you forgetful but many are unaware that there are over 100 different types. Dementia can make itself known in many different ways and recognising them is key.

This course aims to help you with just that. Not only will you learn about what Dementia is and how to recognise it, but also how best to interact with those suffering from it. So should you come across someone with Dementia while working, this course will give you the knowledge to recognise it and the skills to handle the situation like a professional. A short quiz will follow each section, so feel free to take notes if you wish.
